The Vines Took Root

KKWC was first chartered with ARBA in June of 1996.

About Kudzu Kountry

Basically the brain child of Kate Kiley, KKWC was launched to promote more exhibition of Jersey Woolies in the South. It worked! Along with the help of the late Walter Wills, ARBA judge, and his wife Shirley; Kate managed to sponsor a few Wooly specialty shows in the name of fun and promotion of the breed.

KKWC adheres to the original tenets of fun and promotion today.

Not only did the vines take root, but they grew. One of the evidences of growth can be found in the original artwork of some of KKWC’s members. Not only was Kate Kiley the oomph behind the club, she also designed the club logo found on the home page and the sketch which she designed for a pamphlet that KKWC offers.

KKWC’s slogan: "Join KKWC and let your Kudzu Kountry wooly shine in 2009!"

The vine is growing ever longer. We now have associate members living outside the Southland in such places as Iowa and New York. We’d love you to join the fun as well.
