Kudzu Kountry, as we call ourselves for short, is a regional club. Our members pretty much come from the SouthLand wherever ya’ll would find Kudzu (it’s a fast growing vine aka ground cover) overtaking anything that doesn’t move very fast or very often, such as trees and telephone poles. We’re a pretty tight bunch even tho’ our organization is rather loose knit. We’re devoted to showing and promoting the Jersey Wooly breed of rabbit. We host several specialty shows a year, usually in conjunction with another local club. And once a year we host our Sun Your Buns show!!! at the home of a club member. This is a covered dish picnic party, complete with an ARBA and NJWRC sanctioned Jersey Wooly specialty show. We include irregular classes, along with the regular ARBA show classes at our shows. Irregular classes include, but are not limited to: classes for unrecognized varieties, molting classes, costume classes and anything else that might strike our fancy. All of our shows are theme oriented mostly related to the date of the show. For example: For a show in February the theme is usually a Valentine motif, but if it’s the first weekend in February, of course it will be Ground Hog Day. Don’t be surprised by the out of the ordinary such as, Some Woolies Like it Hot, Beach Party Wooly, To Go Where No Wooly Has Gone Before, Wooly Awesome Autumn Leaves, or Wooly in Wolves’ Clothing.
